Peace everyone,

My name is Will and I am the artist behind Unmask Art. Originally I am from Ohio and many know me as being from Seattle as I lived there for many years. Now however, I live in Katowice Poland with my beautiful wife Anna. After graduating high school I decided to join the United States Navy. This is what originally brought me to the Seattle area. I served on both the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Nimitz. After an honorable discharge in July of 2011 I began pursuing my goal of becoming a high school math teacher. However while in college I decided to take an intro to painting class. This will have been my very first time using oil paint. It was such a joy picking up a paintbrush again I since then continued.

After finishing my associates at Everett Community College I was accepted in the University of Washington. Simultaneously I started my YouTube channel. October 24th, 2013 is when I officially started my channel. Before that I had never thought of my art as anything more than just a hobby and never intended to pursue it in any professional way. On a whim, I decided to prop up my IPad and record my first video. A day later, I had my first full-length time lapse which became my first video on my channel. The overwhelming positive feedback has led to more than 600+ videos. What began with a simple time lapse turned into all the viewable videos today. After a tremendous amount of work, my channel grew considerably. My channel has become a platform of enjoyment for many people who appreciate my work. It allows me to interact with my fans and new videos are constantly uploaded. I continue it as my full-time career to this day.
