Purpose:

1. The Monthly Mastery studies are meant to sharpen your fundamentals.

2. Regardless of the medium you choose to complete the study, it will hone your skills in values, forms and your understanding of light.

3. Simple shapes helps develop precision and accuracy.

Directions:

1. DO NOT RUSH!

2. Follow the method of Monthly Mastery #6.

3. Apply Highlights and Reflections.

4. Use gradients to soften edges of cast shadows.

5. Do not create any texture or details. I do not want to see wood grain. Only clean solid shapes and smooth gradients.

6. Email me or use Discord to ask any questions you have. Email your final result to me for the live critique. There will also be the option to post the final on the Facebook Group when the live critiques are announced.
